Hey guys,
I recently purchased a 2005 starlight black elise from Sports and Specialist Cars in Hopewell, NJ and I'm loving every minute of it. The forum has been a great help thus far in diagnosing and treating some minor issues. I am actually coming from a 2002 s2000 with which I had a great experience solely because of the interactive s2000 (s2ki.com) forum. While on that forum, I used to attend meets at least once a week to hang out with fellow owners and over time I've made some great friends through the forum. So my question to the Northeast Region is - do you guys hold regular meets aside from track events in the general area? If so, I would love to attend. Let me know! -Hiren |

I see the following event on their website:
Sunday September 6th: Lotus Corral at Lime Rock Park (Vintage Weekend) Is there anymore info on this event? Besides these set up events, I am moreso inquiring about informal meets in general... |

Send Carbuff@lotusowners.com an email. The informal stuff doesn't get posted it just kind of happens.

I went up yesterday (Saturday) for the Lotus Corral and Parade Laps of the track. We had 19 Loti in the Corral and several other owners stopped by. (Anyone know how many Lotus Owners it takes to replace a taillight bulb on an '05 Elise? I'm not tellin'! ) Lotus of Princeton aka Sports and Specialists Cars was there in full force. In addition to Ed Sanson (S&S sales manager) in an '09 Elise, giving test rides to all, the Steel Wings guys were racing TWO vintage Astons. It was great the see those cars on the track. There were plenty of other vintage Loti (both sports racers and open wheel) in several races. And Eric Logan, longtime friend, was there in his new-to-him S1 Elise (that makes six Loti he owns, now). Additionally, Rijk Rielveld was at LRP in his Spyker (remember, we were supposed to see it during the LEO Spirited Drive August 16th but he got called out of town).
