NJ Spirited Drive: 10/18

The Lotus Enthusiast's Organization invites all Lotus drivers to join us on a Spirited Drive and Barbecue on Saturday, October 18th.

The event starts at William Thomas Roadsters at 269 County Route 513, Frenchtown NJ, at 10 AM. Coffee and breakfast goodies will be served. WTR is an authorized installer for Sector111, and can demonstrate the installation of many S111 items.

About 11 AM we will embark on the Spirited Drive, a 70-mile romp across the backroads of rural NJ. We plan a stopover at Millbrook Village near the Delaware Water Gap...but our ultimate destination is a Barbecue at the home of Charlie and Lisa Senkier outside Newton, NJ.

If you can't attend the entire Drive, feel free to join us at the Barbecue about 2 PM.

The views and fall foliage should be spectacular, both on the road and at Charlie's, which overlooks the Paulinskill Lake and Kitatinny Mountains. The driving will be wonderful as well (I oughta know since I'm planning it!)

RSVP to me via email at carbuff AT lotusowners.com by Thursday, Oct 16, so we can get headcounts and order the food.

See you then,

I'm planning on coming but its the same weekend as the Michigan/PSU game (10/17). I'm definitely going to do my best to get back sat night or sunday am for this though!

OK Guys, looking forward to seeing you. FWIW I'll be at the LEO-NiagaraPCA track day at Watkins Glen Oct 12 - 14 and will probably be out of touch for a few days.

Any other takers? Peck? Vangman? I was finishing up the route over the weekend and it's a corker!

About 18 Loti, spanning a good number of years.

Unfortunately many of our website's pictures got "lost" somehow (just disappeared off the site). I still have 'em on my PC though.

Sure wish I could join you. I really do miss those fall drives in the wilds of N.J.

Fall here lasts one week. No color change, just a drop in humidity, the wind blows, and all the leaves fall off. Next day is winter.

Have a good one!

former N.J. denizen.

Great...feel free to join us last minute. RSVP by Wednesday if you can so we can provide enough refreshments.

That Sport 190 (S1) is owned by "Dr. Mike" but I don't think he is on LT. Note that you have never seen it on a public road, OK?
We have another Sport 190 (in Gold Leaf colors) in the LEO club and he might come this year.
