November meet or drive near NYC?

Has everyone put their cars away for the winter already? 10-day forecast shows sunny and mid-50s just about every day & I haven't had a chance to meet any of you local folk since moving to NYC.

I saw there's a cars & coffee in Westchester, but I'm not super keen on driving an hour+ through the city just for a cars & coffee. Anyone up for a drive? Or just a meet somewhere not too terribly far from NYC?

Josh, no, its Sunday, September 22 for the 2nd Annual Bear Mtn. Cruze. I am in the middle of planning 3 events. The Sept. Cruze, a sprited run here in NJ around April 7 and a Long Island meet (probably a bar-b-que) the end of June/beginning of July. As I firm things up, I will post here on Lotustalk and also on LotusPals.

Actually Atwell, I'd be more than happy to meet you in Livingston (I could go for a nice pastrami right about now). I would like to confer with you regarding possible routes for the April meet I am organising.

BTW Gil, will you be going Saturday (barring no salt)?

Ummmm, Pastrami....

I'm on my post-Thanksgiving/pre-Christmas diet. It would be easier to shed pounds the easy way, and just buy some more Carbon Fiber interior pieces.

It looks like we need to do a rain dance in order to get the salt washed off the roads

I use Salt-Away (recommended by boat owners, who suffer from a slightly different form of insanity than we).

I hook up the reservoir to the hose, run lawn sprinkler under/around car, then use hose nozzle for each corner suspension.

If anyone needs to use or borrow it, let me know.
