you guys know it's gonna rain, right? If so, I think I'll be kayaking as the rivers will be flowing.

Mike - just a warning....don't eat any candy at these Chinese restaurants

HARTFORD, Conn. -- The Department of Consumer Protection warned consumers Wednesday not to eat "White Rabbit Creamy Candy," imported from China and distributed by Queensway Foods Company Inc. of Burlingame, Calif.

The candy was found on several Connecticut store shelves the week of Sept. 29 by agency food safety inspectors and removed, agency Commissioner Jerry Farrell Jr. said. Tests by the Connecticut Agriculture Experiment Station Laboratory have determined that the product contains melamine, he said.

Crap.... That's nasty.

BTW, I tried Dj's International, and it was pretty good, but REALLY expensive. $23 on a Saturday for dinner. Wasn't THAT good!!!!

I'm going to try the Marriott Marquee in Times Sq. and see how that buffet is.

I'm headed to the East Buffet in Flushing today... Will report back!!

BTW, I found another good Chinese place on the upper East Side, though not a buffet. Sunny Chinese Cuisine.

On 3rd ave between 80th and 81st.

Sunny Chinese Cuisine - Manhattan/Upper East Side - New York, NY

Manhattan -I highly recommend this one..

Imperial Garden , 536 3rd Ave. 212 779 2828

We regularly order lunch in from these guys and its remarkably good food and decently priced.

No affiliation etc etc.

OK for Imperial Garden.

I opted not to go to East Buffet in Flushing because it's f^cking $26 and $29 on a Saturday night for dinner. RIDICULOUS.

Chinese buffets scare me. The cheaper, the scarier.

I'll get right on that

Went to KING CHINA BUFFET on Central Ave. Scarsdale, right near the Ford Dealer.

Paid $7.50 for lunch and the food was almost as good as the East Buffet and DJ's... Good deal.

Tomorrow I'm headed to Philly area and will look for a place there.

This is truly a remarkable thread, on many levels.

Do you have any recommendations for Pizza Buffets other than CiCi's?

Well, most of these Chinese buffets do indeed have Pizza.

For pizza, I recommend ... LEDO PIZZA! It's the best in VA/MD Sorry, no buffet
