So here are some instructions regarding the event that I feel to post because of my compulsive and controlling nature:
Don't forget that the Golden Age Air museum requires an entry fee. Group rates are $4, but I'll be collecting $5 - because it will be easier, and the excess will go to the biplane ride drawing or just get donated to the museum. Tickets for the biplane ride drawing will be $10. If I sell enough we'll have more than 1 drawing. When you arrive I would like to park the cars so they are staged for the Scenic Drive. So the first to arrive will go around the circle in the drive way and park so that they are pointed in the direction of exit - I'll be there to direct. Subsequent arrivals will stack up behind. For the few people who will be arriving in non-Lotus cars, you will park just off the driveway in the grass, next to my non-Lotus vehicles - it should be obvious. I'll have coffee and pastry available for refreshment in the AM. Brats will be served up when we get back from the museum. A few words on the drive. We'll have upwards of 20 cars on the drive. It will be very hard to keep all of the cars together. The directions are easy and printed instructions will be provided. Do not try to keep the caravan together and the cost of time and flow. There is also likely to be traffic that will ruin your fun by driving slowly. This is unfortunate, but unavoidable. In this scenario just sit back and enjoy the raods and scenery, we don't need any incidents to mar the fun. When we arrive at the museum there is a dedicated parking area whre will will situate. A few words on the museum. We don't particularly like it when bystanders paw our beloved cars. The museum doesn't like it when people put theor hand all over the airplanes. Treat the planes like we treat our cars, with respect for their rarit and condition. The museum can accomadate cars on the field if individuals want pictures next to planes etc. I will have a cooler of water at the museum if anybody needs it. The drive back to my place will be scenic, but direct. When we get back you can park in the circle any way you please. I am REALLY looking forward to this event, I hope you are too. Hi everyone. Eric Hanson and I are leaving in our Elises from Eric's place in Levittown, PA at 7:30 sharp. The drive up to Kyle's place is a little over two hours (driving the speed limit, that is -- haha!).
I see that some of you are traveling from Philly and Jersey. We are wondering if anyone would like to caravan on up the PA Turnpike with us? You could meet us over at Eric's place in Levittown at 7:30 OR we could meet up at an Exit off the Turnpike a little later. Eric has been to Kyle's place before, so he knows the way. If you are interested, hit me back either here or through PM, and we'll fine tune the details. Thanks everyone! Looking forward to meeting you all on Saturday and checking out your cars! Jim Boice

also, if any of you knuckleheads want to cruise out together let me know where and when. I'm about five minutes away from the 78/309/22/PA Turnpike interchanges.

Kyle, we have made 98% of the distance by flying from Frankfurt to Dulles Airport yesterday. After a minor problem with the rental car everything looks fine now. So we should be at your place right on time tomorrow (well before 12:00).
We are looking forward to this event very much. ![]() Yep, and thanks for telling right now where to leave the non-Lotus car, I was wondering about that. ![]() |

I'd like to come, but have a wedding in the early evening. Perhaps I can come and leave early. Can you please put me down as tentative? If coming, I'll bring beer. Good beer.

I wish I could come to this but I have a track day at pocono. I think I would be there until roughly 4 pm and this is about 2 hours away. I think 6 would be a little late for showing up. Have fun guys.

Thanks Kyle. My real name is Brian. As it turns out, it looks like I'll possibly be able to attend at least until the ride starts at 12:00pm. I'll be in a SY Elise. Looking forward to it.

If it's not too late to add me to the list, I plan on leaving soon for the drive up.
