Saw 2 Elises in Maine in less than a minute !

We were heading up the Maine Turnpike heading for Bar Harbor Saturday the 11th, and saw a CO Elise fueling up at a service area, and then not a minute later a red with black bonnet stripes coming at us heading south.

This was all after my Wife said upon leaving the house that morning "I bet we don't see any Elise's today" considering I have only seen 1.5 on the road EVER ( other than mine ) this didn't seem like a bad bet. One was in Saratoga Springs, NY and the other was in the Alps..... just caught a glimpse coming around a corner on a mountain road, that was the half....

Anybody on the board ?

I was driving with 2 kayaks on the roof of our Element, almost took the Elise with the Wife driving the Honda, but it's 500 miles each way for us and I just couldn't justify it...... wished several times I had.

I would have posted this last week, but the ISP serving the place we were staying at wouldn't properly resolve elisetalk.com, I thought EliseTalk was down for a couple of days before I started looking into it..... trying to catch up.

wow, I would say that probably breaks some kind of record for Elise sightings in Maine. I am a Maine native and drove my Elise there last summer. I put almost 1000 miles on driving around Maine and never saw another one

I've been coming up to Kennebunk for the last few weekends to work on my Jeep, but I don't have any stripes...

CO Elise on Main St in Huntington, LI

I was standing over my car waiting for my GF to get out and heard a few honks. I looked up and it was a CO Elise with what I thought was a female waving at me.

If you're here...

"Yo".

No no, it wasn't me, lol. I was just kidding since I'm probably 10 minutes away from Huntington and I have the Lotus today, and it's parked with the top off. I haven't left my office at all today.

Awesome, I drive this car often. Will keep an eye out.

Nothing worth mentioning down here but there are some roads in Bayville that I like. Down by the hamptons are also roads worth driving on, especially near the the skydiving place.

Black Elise on 684 northbound

I was in the Laser Blue with my GF going southbound. I was in the far right and so were you, so I'm sure he couldn't see me.

Hard top was on his car

Anyone here?

Maybe you were having a premonition. I'll be on 684 northbound tomorrow afternoon. Black Elise, but the hardtop will be at home.

Canyone Red Elise on 287W (traffic)

Yesterday @ 4 pm. Was really heavy traffic all day towards the Tappan Zee.

Saw an odd colored, odd-shaped car. I did a full turn-around and saw the back of a Canyon Red Elise...(I think it was canyon red. It was a really dark red)

I know you have to be here !!!

Dude, did you go across the bridge and get stuck in all the traffic also? We saw you turn off at some other exit and thought you went somewhere else.

i dontthink he was with us before the bridge....i could be wrng but there were 3 lazer blue crs, i think the one that was with us was not bm nor peck 555, but rather the other one. the reason i say this is that car had a hard top on when i saw it get off the exit....
