I'll be leading one of the rally groups. We will probably try to break it up into groups of 10 cars each so we can try to keep cars together as much as possible. We drove the route the other day to get familiar with it (in the rain). Should be great fun for everyone. A little of everything. Here's a video I put together from the practice run:

Few questions....

1. Anyone heading down from North of Hartford.. 84 W. to Rte 2?..
Not 100% sure If I would be able to make a caravan quite yet...
but if not... (see #2)

2. ...able to make it down till a bit later or am able to show up at all
any designated parking areas for people arriving late?

3. How to make a contribution regardless of attending or not?

Thanks for the note.

1. The MA caravan I'm part of will only run down I-95, so I'm not sure about those who are taking the Mass Pike to connect to I-84.

2. Not sure about designated parking for arrival after 11:30 AM. Please contact Manolis, the coordinator for this event via the event site. Ask him if registering would guarantee you a parking spot, even if arriving late.

3. Very kind of you. Unfortunately, I don't have an answer for you either, since I will be there. I took a look at the site, and not much was shared regarding donations in absence. Please ask Manolis about that as well.

This will be a day trip for me. I had been contemplating staying over Sunday night but I think I missed the reservation cutoff.

Scotty, meeting at the Hi Ho (exit 44 Merritt) is ideal for me but is it too far out of your way?

Anyone else coming from NYC/Southern CT area that would want to meet at Exit 44 on the Merritt??

If not -- I don't mind coming up 684 if that's much better for ya?

Looks to me like a 2 hour drive to foxwoods so meeting at 9am would be fine. However, the weather is supposed to rain all weekend. I bet it will be postponed.
