My rear tires are hurting as well, but nowhere near as bad as yours, john. I'm waiting for the spring before fixing mine. I have a set of non-LSS wheels and tires (yokahama, whatever stock tires are) that you could swing by and install before the next drive. However, I'm not sure they are in better shape than your present ones.
And I threw in a picture of my garage just to compete with Todd's. I know people love seeing super-clean garages.

I'm in the same boat. I've got two bald rear RE01's and great fronts, as well as 2 bald rear yoko's and great fronts on my non-lss wheels. It hurts to have to get 4 new wheels just because these rears are beat. I'll probably get the RE11's early next spring.

I know you're not supposed mix brands but I did. I put 245 Bridgestones on the rear with AD07 on the front. No problems at all. After the yokos in front wore out I put some cheaper tires on the front too. I don't trust their grip like I did the yokos but I'm pretty broke these days. So far they've been ok, but I haven't tracked with them. Today I ordered some Hankook Ventus R-S2 in 225 for the rear. They're on close out and I picked a pair up for $78 a tire (tire rack). Too cheap to pass up. They got some real good reviews so I'll see. So I should be ready to roll in a few days.

Shouldn't be too far away. (barring snow
)The bombing range is about 20 miles north of Mauston. Before 9/11 they held it at the Hardwood Range, which was maybe 20 or 30 miles west. Check back tomorrow, I'll try to get more detailed info.John |

I hope we get at least one more get together in before the weather goes bad, but if not, I had to show off the beautiful work Chuck (Risen) and his partner Rich did on my car--check out the thread I posted for pictures. http://www.lotustalk.com/forums/f3/c...ng-cars-79733/
I'm very happy with the look of it. Hopefully I can show it off in the flesh (fiberglass) before we all pack it in for the winter... |

The air show sucked. Nothing at all like what it used to be.
No attack helicopters machine gunning jeeps to smithereens. No A10. Only one pass of the F16 strafing (which we missed). The B1 bomber did a few flybies but dropped non-exploding ordnance, and missed the target to boot. No attack helicoptors to climb in and play machine gunner. No machine gun demonstrations. What a waste of time. |

60 degrees and sunny this weekend! Any interest in one last hurrah before winter sets in?

I'm in for one last cruise. Sounds like the weather is going to pretty nice. Either day works for me.
