This is a three-day holiday Labor Day weekend. Anybody interested in meeting me at my place west of the suburbs for a drive north through the country to Lake Geneva? Pick a day and a time...

I might be able to make it. I'm busy on Saturday. And I was going mtn biking up in Kettle Morraine State Park on Sunday afternoon. My friend is camping up there and is bringing my bike up for me. I planned on driving to the Eagle area early Sunday afternoon. If the drive wasn't too late I could tie them together, since Eagle isnt too far from Lake Geneva.
And I might be able to on Monday also.... looking for something to do with the girlfriend.

On your way to Eagle take a short detour and drive up CTY H north out of La Grange. When 67 keeps going north and 12 turns left follow 12. Short, but sweet.
Do you know which campground? I may have to come for a visit. |

So far, there are three of us who should be able to attend with three maybes. The likely drive time will either be Sunday afternoon or sometime on Monday, depending on when the most people are available. Let me know what works for you.

Working til 4PM Saturday - will be bored after that though cuz my bf is going to a bachelor party all night. So if someone wants to go for a night-time cruise, lemme know. Otherwise, I volunteer at an animal shelter on Sunday morning until about noon - but free after that. Gotta wash my car though - it's been a week since she had a bath - the longest I've ever let it go!

No matter when we do this, some folks aren't going to be available. At this point, most people are available on Monday. Several people had conflicting time constraints on Sunday. And Saturday was out.
Anybody have any time constraints on Monday?

For those of you sitting back undecided, perhaps this will sweeten the pot. I believe Mike will be joining us with his new car...

I just talked to Rick at Popeye's (not the chain restaurant) in Geneva and he is going to hold nine reserved, protected parking spaces for us Monday. They open at 11:00a and he said the earlier we get there the better. If we need more, I need to let him know.
This means we should meet at my place around 9:30-9:45 and try to leave by 10:00a. If everyone who plans to come would let me know if you are bringing a guest, I can then make a restaurant reservation. I'll PM directions to my place to all those who are likely to attend. I'm glad we were able to get such a nice showing with such little notice! Todd
