Minneapolis MN Cars & Cafe, Saturday November 7th, 8am-11am

Cars & Cafe is on for November 7th. The weather is supposed to be good and there's been enough rain since the last salt went down to clean the roads.

I'll be at the Chanhassan Perkins for breakfast at 7:00 AM. Join me, or show up at 7:50 AM and we'll drive over as a group. There will be Lotus, DeLorean and MR2 Mk-I owners, plus some strays. See you there.

Take Hwy 5 west through Chanhassen. Stay in the two right lanes initially to avoid getting sucked off onto the left-exit for Hwy 312 to Chaska. At the west edge of Chanhassen, there's a traffic light on Powers Blvd/ County Rd 17... there's a Target and a Perkins (look for the big flag) on the northeast corner.

To Perkins Family Restaurant:
951 W 78th St, Chanhassen MN, (952) 474-9460
Yahoo! Maps, Driving Directions, and Traffic YahooMap
Turn right (north) on Powers Blvd and go a very short block to the first traffic light. Turn right at the light, and immediately look for another right to the Perkins.

To Cars & Coffee at the Auto Motorplex
8200 Audubon Road, Chanhassen, MN

Yahoo! Maps, Driving Directions, and Traffic Yahoo Map
From the traffic light at Powers Blvd, continue west approx 5/8 mile to the next traffic light/ left turn lane at Audubon Road.

Turn south (left) on Audubon Rd about 1/2 mile to 8200... the entrance is on your right (west). The MotorPlex is set back off the road a little ways, but you'll see the cluster of green-roof buildings down the hill.

Regards,
Tim Engel
