Redline Time Attack, Autobahn Country Club, June 20th-21st

Just wanted to see if any Lotus owners/racers were going to be heading out to AutoBahn this weekend?

We're expecting a great turnout of fast cars this weekend.

To give you a perspective of lap times from some tracks around the country, for our classes of cars:

Willow Springs Big Track:

Unlimited Class: 1:18 - 1:22
Modified Class: 1:26 - 1:30
Street Class: 1:29- 1:34

VIR Full Course:

Unlimited Class: 1:56-2:00
Modified Class: 2:02 - 2:08
Street Class: 2:06 - 2:14

NJMP Thunderbolt (with chicane):

Unlimited: 1:22 - 1:26
Modified: 1:28 - 1:34
Street: 1:32 - 1:40

Time Attack events still have a "Import Racer" image, but we are attempting to change that, by reaching out to groups like this. Our events are open to ALL makes and models of cars. Our fans enjoy it, our racers enjoy it, the media LOVE it!

Saturday is a High Performance Driving Event, with no competition.... and about 2 hours of track time for each participant.

has anyone run a Elise or Exige in TA? is it competitive? What would they be running against for the NA or S?

One of our more competitive cars in California is Manly Kao with his Lotus Elise. He very nearly won the Season Championship last year. Took 1st place at Rd 1 this year in Street RWD, Took top 5 I think at Willow Springs (A "Horse Power Track"..)..

I figure, the more turns there are on a race course, and the shorter the straights, the Lotus will excel.

The Lotus Elise and Exige are classed into Street... Exige S is classed into Modified.
