Summit Point drive feeler

So I got invited to an Aston Martin/B&O event in Tyson's Corner yesterday. Great food, fun cars, got to see the new B&O 104 inch home theatre system (phenomenal!) While there, I met a guy who runs the Aston Martin owners club, and a woman who is the regional manager for Aston Martin NA. They are both Lotus fans and AMOC would be interested in doing some events with Lotus folks. They are dong a track day at Summit Point in a few weeks, and I was thinking about a scenic drive up there to watch. It would be interesting to see Aston Martins zipping down the track. If we planned, we could all bring drinks and picnic food, and hang out for the afternoon. Anyone interested? October is usally a nice time in WVA.

I think it is October 10th. I need to check the flyer.

They are going to be on the main track. Price is $250, plus a $50 check for hospitality (food and drink, etc) It's actually a pretty good deal. Lotus will be welcome if there are any spots left. The guy wanted to give Aston Martin owners first right of refusal. I'll post the details later.

The weekend of the 10th has an SCCA event on the main circuit. I am interested in a track event this month, so if you have any info let us know. There is a FATT in less than two weeks and a rare Saturday FATT on the 24th.

The Aston event is the 24th.My boss is going with his Turbo924 as it is some kind of sales event. 8 spots left. I really do not like the Main track
10-31 is the SCCA weekend at the Lotus No Car Has a Chance Against Us Shenandoah track. I'm going Sat. Still need to sign up. Anyone else? Scott?

Shanendoah Circuit

I definately want to try out the Shanendoah circuit sometime. I was at SP 2 weeks ago watching the Porsche club races on the main circuit and walked over to the Sh. circuit. First time I had seen it and it looks very fun. Ive only been on the main circuit once and am a newbie to the track so I'd need to be there on a day when you can have a coach. Too bad the weather is already at 40 deg.... keep me posted when yall r thinking of going again.

-Will

oh and when I was there I saw someone in a silver Exige running the track. Also there was a Mosler I think... looks like a friggin race car
