Should we try to have a local event in December? Anyone interested in going to the local indoor cart track?

Rob arranged a Karting day this past Sunday as he suggested in his emails.

If you've got an idea or suggestion, put it out there and see what happens.

Anyone up for a Saturday drive? Maybe to a winery or just up in the mountains somewhere?

Both my cars are down for repairs the next couple of weeks but maybe in early August?

Aug 30, 2008 - Mason Dixon Rally

August 30th is the 3rd annual Mason Dixon rally that some folks on F-chat and other forums have put on now. here's a link to the thread on F-chat about it. From what I've read in the past it seems like a fun time and a good chance to get out and talk cars with other locals. I'm planning on going, but nothing set in stone yet.

4th Annual Mason Dixon Rally

Yes the date is set....Saturday September 12th. It is the weekend after Labor day and the weekend before the Ferrari Challenge and Historics at New Jersey Motorsports Park. So I finally found a weekend that didnt have some significant event to compete. No excuses now...put it on you calendar. Details will be forthcoming but wanted to get this out there. Check out last years extensive thread for a flavor of whats to come. See you all at the end of the summer ...or before.Send me a PM if you have questions. Special announcement!! A Tesla will be in attendance!! Jon in Delaware

Classics on the James

Anyone else going to the 25th Annual Classics on the James Sunday, September 20, 2009 Brown's Island in Richmond, Virginia? We will be there with our Seven. I see the local Lotus dealer Euroclassics Lotus Euroclassics | Porsche & Lotus Dealer | Midlothian, Virginia is a sponsor (last year they brought a Porsche ). The show is about half British with the rest a mix of Euro.

Elise Takes Peoples' Choice

A black on black 2006 Elise took the peoples' Choice award at the 25th Annual Classics on the James! This was in a field with plenty of high dollar Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche and Aston Martin. It is wonderful to see people appreciate Lotus.
