Question Where to stay at VA Beach?

We are going to take the girls on a much needed vacation. Part of it will be Virginia Beach for 1 or 2 nights. I was hoping to get some recommendations for a decent place to stay.

We don't need the Ritz but the wife will definitely not sweep roaches or step over college kid vomit.

Any suggestions?

TIA,
RoadDad

It's been years since I stayed there... so I would have a hard time telling you where to stay.

For breakfast... go to the Beach Pub! good year after year!

Turtle Cay across the street from the beach down towards the first street Jetty is ideal. It is also a timeshare condo. Very nice layout with hot tub, and a couple pools. Lots of great places to eat like Mahi Mah's and Waterman's.

Thanks Andy. I'll have the wife look into it.

Thumbs up

Cavalier hotel for sure. Classic, classy, and great location. Don't let the name fool you.
