my mom always told me i was special, but until now, i never really knew what she meant.

"Lotus Exige Club Racer and Elise California now available for ordering"
http://www.elisetalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48430

"Lotus Details Exige S "Club Racer" and Major Shakeup at Lotus Cars USA"
http://www.elisetalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=45937

"Exige S "Club racer" on Ebay. Rare." with link to eBay ad with specs
http://www.elisetalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=50082

that in-depth search took all of two minutes, including the formatting of this post. i must be gifted or you really didn't make an effort.

Head over to Silver Star Lotus in Thousand Oaks and check the Club Racer out in person -- they just got one in and it is available.

Love the color but I'd spend all my time trying to sneak "DUKESUX" past the DMV.

Go heels.

What is lightweight Club Racer spec? It seems a mystery to all I have spoken with. Is it just he absence of the touring package?

hey we know more than just Lotus here

I am debating the club racer vs 240 myself...Personally I dont mind the baby blue when combined with the black trim...It does lack some other features of the 240 though besides the 20 hp (variable TC, new roof)...

The Club Racer is really just a 'left over' 07 "S" and is really very simmilar. They painted it blue, slapped on the S240 brakes, installed the '08 instrument cluster, added the driving lights in front, and changed the interior a bit. That's about it.

I think only one more sentence would be needed for the difference with the 240 Exige. Lotus didn't make any dramatic changes, period.
