As a relatively new follower of the Brand (and near-future buyer), when does the next-model-year info/pricing normally surface?
And what (if anything) has "promotions", as seen on lotuscars.com, historically meant? Thanks in advance. |

LOTUS 60th....pics
There is some "unofficial" mentions about the 09 exige. In the past, Lotus hasn't told us anything until the last minute... I think for 08, we first confirmed the Exige S 240 w/ roof scoop when it was Open House day at Lotus Factory and we saw federal exige's with the big scoop in pictures

Mechanically there will be no major differences between '08 and '09 Elises (look for colorful striped editions, 60th anniversary, etc). There will be two versions of a 260 hp Exige S for '09, one version as a track only, the other a street version. An all new Elise is expected in '10. Look to see some of the refinements learned from developing the Tesla, such as lower entry sills and a slightly wider chassis/frame for bit more interior room.
