can anyone explain why blue leather is N/A with Magnetic Blue, and red leather is N/A with Ardent Red?

Usually because the hues are somewhat different and 2 different shades of the same colour on one car looks awful, especially when they meet like on the doors (inside painted too)

Better to go with contrasting colors. Works a lot better.

The way I read their chart, they are recommending certain color combos. I don't believe that limits your choices. Perhaps we can clarify this on Friday at the auto show.

Thank you Hollywood, great post. I notice you have a Celica GTS so you have experience with the engine going in the Elise. Someone in an earlier post ask about Limited Slip, I understand these are available in the aftermarket quire readily for the Toyota gearbox.
