Here's one of the red pics - the door panel looks bad to me.

Just my opinion - I could be wrong

If you go to the LA Auto Show, look at the BMW M3. It is red with red interior and both shades are similar to the Lotus shades. In my opinion, the combo doesn't quite look right. Might be a BMW pic online somewhere with that combo that you can search for.

Any more high res shots of that Ardent Red Elise from Matheny? Looks like the color came out right on those.

I don't have any of the Ardent, but I drove the same car and in my monitor at least, they look accurate.

The red leather is a different tone then the red alcantara of euro elises...I plan on possibly having parts of the seats recovered in red alcantara with a closer match to the red outside. If matched properly it should be very nice.

Heh, I'd like the see the remaining pages of the book. I've yet to reserve mine, although they've already charged me for my deposit.

I agree with you, but I'm guessing ours looks like it does due to packaging constraints. That said, I'd still rather have our dinky exhaust with the 190 HP Toyota engine than than a stunning exhaust with only the 150 HP Rover in there.

It's done the way it is to save weight.

Also, it looks a LOT better in person than any pics I've seen.

New US Elise brochure

HI All,
Here's the new US elise brochure. Not really all that great with no real good shots of the Elise. I suspect they'll come up with something better, as I think these were created for the LA show.

Of interest is the membership app. to official Lotus club. Also, I hope Lotus USA is able to license apparel manufacturing because the UK offered stuff has traditionally been pretty uninspiring (except the Lotus Motorsport stuff)

All the brochures I get are missing the sheet with the colors on them, so if someone scarfed one of these sheets at LA (they were there) please scan and add to it.
