IS 55K GOOD FOR 72D WITH HARDTOP

Title Says it all. I have noticed that there are quite a few Type 72D's still unsold at dealers - Got a dealer offering me one for 55k with hard top. Would love some advice

Not at all, I think someone purchased a 72 D for low 40's awhile back.

Yeah, 46-48 would be a decent deal. 50 he should take in a heartbeat, 52 would be instant

Supervixen's dealership is looking for $56K for theirs, but give her a call and see if she can work something out. She's a long-time L Talker.

+1. i remember someone just picking one up for mid 40's on here within the last week or so. 55 is a joke, especially with a bunch of these still sitting on lots. And the hardtop is standard on the 72D model, so don't let someone talk you into some kind of "we'll throw that in for free" deal.

Silicon Valley Auto Group last month, had an 06, new, 300 miles, full warrantee, touring, hardtop, paint, starshield, misc bling, asking 42K. I passed; found an 05 with 7600 miles, as above, minus the bling stuff, but with sport pack, for 34,5.
