Any changes to Exige for '09?

Just tell me that the above release dates for MY'09s is a typo and I can stop being disappointed! I am guessing no a/c, no radio and speakers, no carpet, no extra sound insulation, no cup holder, but maybe with Cup Car wheels and I/C. Don't know what else they could do?

MY09 cars are said to arrive by late December of '08 the earliest but realistically, I don't see them coming until January and maybe even February of 2009.

With the exception of the Exige S220, the only changes to MY09 cars will be pricing as base price will go up a few hundred dollars. In addition to current models, Lotus will come out with an Exige S260 in both Cup Car and street legal versions and is said to weigh a couple hundred pounds less than the current Exige models....something about fuel tank and carbon bits.

So, if I'm reading this correctly:

Exige S 220hp: no price change
Exige S 240hp: price increase
Exge S 260hp: Higher price

That's great that Lotus is offering different levels at different price points.

I didnt write the check till they had the car... dont know if they got it yet
Edit: so apparently the car has left the dealership already... dont know when it happened tho... I guess my bank is just slow processing the check do to its size

can you look at the vins to see which car was made first? I would be interested to know which one of our cars went down the line first

I looked here, and if it works my s/n is 1713. I assume that is car 1713 out of xxxx for 2008.

Great update thanks!! We hope that the S260 Street is a reality. I think last year news and pricing of the new models came out in mid November after the LA Car show, which is only 3 months away
