Lotus Sport Elise Specs

Here is what the differences are on the Lotus Sport Elise now being imported-


Lotus Sport Additions (above a standard MY 06 with Sport Package, Track Pack, Hardtop, Traction Control)
Lotus Sport Paint Scheme - Saffron Yellow with painted Storm Titanium twin
stripes. (Lotus sport colors are Yellow, Black and Silver)
Stainless Steel Brake Lines
Uprated Clutch Plate
Uprated Clutch Cover
Black Pack
T45 Roll Hoop
Harness Bar
Exige Sports Seats - Lotus Sport bespoke trim.
Lotus Sport Floor Mats
Lotus Sport Window Winders
Lotus Sport Indicator Stalks
Lotus Sport Handbrake Sleeve
2-Way Adjustable Ohlins Dampers - Bespoke Lotus Sport Tuned Dampers
Lotus Sport Decals
Lotus Sport Build Plate


The only thing not touched is drivetrain because of the federal requirements.

Another difference is the rear speaker mounts. They are mounted lower than before to clear the harness bar and are angled upwards.

Does anyone else have a problem with the "safer" roll hoop? Why aren't all cars equipped with this "upgrade"? The one in a regular Elise is more likely to crumble on impact and they figured a tracked Elise is more likely to roll, so it was a calculated risk on who gets crunched?
