2007 Exige S. delivered on 1/2/07. Chrome Orange, touring, track,LSD,TC, Stage II and Starshield. Still considering performance/power upgrades however, I am extremely impressed by the performance/power of the S. IMHO, it definitely does not need to be upgraded. Not for the street, anyway.
There is no other car for any amount of money that I would rather own and drive.

Well, if they follow the trend, the 09 Exige 'S' should be a street going Cup 255, and I will want one badly...
Cheers,
Skottoman

I'm continuously amazed at how good this car looks in white.

i like how they threw on the heavy stock exige wheels on the track car.

also the 0-60 and 0-100 times are the same for Exige S, Cup 240, Cup 255 and now Cup 260.

Those wheels may be heavy, but I think they are beautiful!

because now they dont have to launch at 8k.. with every power increase they are getting closer and closer to the 4.1 number being the ACTUAL (non clutch drop) acceleration of the car.. now perhaps they can drop at 3k and get the 4.1 number.. where as before they were dropping at 8k

The Exige S 0-60 time was done with a 4k clutch drop if I remember correctly. Only the Elise had the 8k drop to get the 4.7 sec 0-60 time.

What's different, more importantly, is that the 0-100 times drop with each successive model. This would be more important... especially for big tracks with long straights. (A Lotus weakness.)

I wonder what they are going to charge for one? Not sure why one would buy a cup car over a 211 if they are similar in price.

I guess they'll sell a few more cars and not have to do much. Its just another exige spin off.
