Solar Yellow looks a lot lighter than Saffron Yellow in the PDF.
Is that Solar Yellow on the Exige? Anyone can confrim that?
I hope Solar Yellow just a metallic version of Saffron...

Solar
is not a metallic version of Saffron....and yes it is the color yellow
that is on the Exige. Black being the only other color available on
the Exige. Saffron has more of an orang-ey cast, whereas Solar is
truer to an 'all yellow'.

I asked on this forum about colors awhile ago and I got excellent feedback.

http://www.elisetalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15914

Was going with red first and ended up changing to solar yellow. After seeing these pics I am SO happy... my feb delivery exige should look just like the NY show example. Very excited... very.

i was talking with clyde and he said the solar yellow IS the Sport Yellow in the 240R, while the phantom black IS the Sport Black in the 240R.

I'm with Randy. So many choices-that's awesome! My BRP wil become rare. But...

Gold? There's one guy with a vote that just plain has no taste, or poor vision. Someone will buy one, and then put gold rims on it, too.

Lot's of pictures

Everybody is always clamoring for more pictures, so here you go:
Chilli Red, Solar Yellow and Canyon Red side by side. Semi-overcast day (even in SoCal), so the metallic doesn't pop out. In fact, even with a few nose prints on the cars, it is almost impossible to even tell they-re metallic paints in anything but direct sunlight.

Black Pack

The Solar Yellow in the previous pictures looks a lot like pictures of Saffron. It really does not look like Saffron at all. When I see it, I think of high-lighter yellow. It has a fluorescent look to it, a lot like Krypton does in bright light. The picture of the black diffuser shows the color more true-to-life. That was a flash picture which probably brought out the metallic. Sorry it isn't a better view than that, but I was crouched back in the bushes just to get this one. The black wheels are visible in the other Solar Yellow pictures.

My previous look at Chili Red (pictures above) left me very unimpressed with it. It just screamed Campbell's tomato soup. That was an overcast day. Today I saw one in bright sunlight and it looked completely different. In the sun, the gold metal flakes really pop out. The car in this picture was not very clean...ash all over it from the wildfire near here, but you can still see the gold highlighting.

I got my first look at a couple of new colors on Friday-BRG and chili red. The BRG was really nice-opaque, very traditional looking. I liked it. The chili was just weird. It's got to be the closest thing to Fast n Furious available. And it still looks like atomic tomato soup. nice try, Lotus. It IS different, I'll give them that.

I like them all, esp. the new yellow, white, and Canyon Red. Any pictures of Autumn Gold floating around out there? NEVERMIND... I found some... SIMPLY HORRID!

I found out at the show that the 06/07 GG has more blue flake in it than the 05 did.
