NY Auto Show - Is this Laser Blue???

Volvo had a V70R on their display. They say it is Laser Blue - a custom PPG color. So how similar is this to Lotus Laser Blue, the color I ordered?

Sorry about that, meant to grab a smaller version of that image. I thought the software would prevent me from doing stupid things like this

I also added to my Elise collection today. Exoticar was selling the Type 49 Elise. They also had the blue Elise S2 in stock, which I already own. I did not see any red or yellow ones. These are the Jadi models. The quality is quite good. The roof is fixed on the Type 49 model and removable on the blue S2.

The roof comes off, but you have to be careful.
If you squeeze the sides by the doors at the same time and push towards the front of the car, the mounting tabs in the front will snap and you can remove the roof. You may want to rock it back and forth to loosen it up first. Also their is a piece that looks like a long needle in the trunk that is a pain to get loose, but it holds up the trunk.

Hi Jay,

The color looks pretty close to me. Check this page out.

I looked for this but only saw yellow and red. Can you post or pm a link?

Thanks!

I checked the web site and they only show yellow. I believe their catalgo shows the Type 49. At the New York Auto Show they had both Type 49 and blue in stock. Perhaps if you call the NY store you can order a blue one????

Thanks. I have all those pics on my computer What I was really looking for is someone who has actually seen the Volvo and the Elise in the flesh to provide a comparison.
