Anyone seen or heard of a Lotus Carlton in the US? I want one and am willing to sell my Elan for one. Please help!

The Lotus Carlton / Omega was never imported into the states. Might be possible to bring one in as a used vehicle, the engine was never certified nor was the body ever crash tested or DOT certified.
