Lotus design.
Thought I'd share some of my Lotus drawings. Just 2 of them for now, but I'd like to hear what you might think of the ideas....
Here's a pair of drawings for a Seven revival. The closed wheels would provide more surface area so that downforce at higher speeds wouldn't be as much of an issue as the original Seven design. Think similar size to the original, perhaps slightly larger. Also see some current Elise design influence, and a bit of 340R feel on the sides. ![]() ![]() And today I decided to take a brake from other painting and artistic endeavors and get back to automotive design. This is a rough sketch for some new Esprit ideas, because I haven't been at all satisfied so far with anything I have seen regarding this car. ![]() Oh yeah, a random drawing of an Elise from when I was a tot (yeah, I know the wheelbase is too short and the inner taillight isn't big enough )![]() Any comments? |

I particularly like the last one. The shading is quite good. You can really see the feminine spirit of the car. I'd buy a print of it if you sold one.
