Question Lotus Elise electrical problem

I have a 2005 Lotus Elise and all of a sudden my tachometer, speedometer, and gas gauge stopped working. This happened once before and it came back on, but no one knew why. Can anyone shed some light on this problem? I'd like to get it fixed once and for all. Thanks!

Did you check the fuses?

Thanks Chris, I will (by the way, where are they). But this didn't act like a fuse problem. The speedo started bouncing for a while last year, and I took it into a performance shop. the fellow monkeyed around with it and it stopped bouncing, though he isn't sure what he did that fixed it. A few weeks ago, the engine start button began flashing intermittently, then went more or less off. a few days later the speedo and tach went off, then, after sitting at work for a few hours, began working again. Today, speed, tach and fuel indicator all went off- and the fuel low light went on (it is not low on fuel). Is there a computer or sensor that these indicators run through? Could they by chance be related to the throttle body and control sensors, as the engine has also been idling fast.

First thing I would try is disconnecting the battery from a few minutes.
