Lotus cars are often described as handling like 'slot cars.'

I thought I'd share a few pics of 'other Lotus Models,
that emphasize that characteristic:
1/24 Revell 23B. Circa 1966.
I/24 scale Lotus Turbo Esprit. Stevens bodied static kit converted roughly to a G body car. Cox chassis (1965) with appropriate mag/BBS wheels.
1/32 scale Policars/Polistil Lotus Europa. One of only two known assembled Europa slot cars. Italy origin. Colletible there. Rare here.
1/32 Scale Scalextric Lotus 7. Currently available through various retail channel. Catherhams available as well. Different liveries.
1/32 Revell/Monogram Jim Clark Lotus Cortina. Collectible edition. Currently available.

Just a few more, again, all operable on a slot track...

1/32 Strombecker Lotus 38. Late 60's Very rare, hard to find in complete condition. Only rendition of the 38 that had the actual 2 winshields of the 1:1 car. 40+ year old.

1/32 Monogram Lotus 33. Around 1965/66. One of the most desireable collectibles when all the fragile pieces are there (the cars WERE played with) This is an exceptional example. A little pricey on the collector market. 40+ years old.

1/32 Scalextric Camel Lotus. Durable, great fun to play with. Out of production, but still very good runners, not too collectible. 10+ years old.

1/24 Monogram Lotus 38. A Holy Grail of slot collecting in very good condition. This one is a heartbreaker. Expertly painted and detailed by a past owner. Quality paint. All taking away from collector value. All fragile parts are there, original box in good condition. 40+ years old.

1/24 Cox Lotus 40 RTR. As a Ready to Run (original insert packing) this is a very collectible car. Notice actual magnesioum wheels. In this model, the fronts are from a Cox Ford GT, from the factory, because the RTR car has a steering front end and free wheeling wheels. Cox made them only in Ford GT configuration so the cars were shipped with the wrong from wheels. The kit cars could be built as a 30 or 40, and all have highly detailed magnesium Lotus wheels. 40+ years old.

1/24 Strombecker Lotus 29. Finished second at Indy, precursor to winning Lotus 38. Gurney drove. Circal 1965. Kit or ready to run. This slot car is over 40 years old.
