I could only find like two pictures, but here are pictures of our Elan. I do believe there is one in an earlier post in this thread.
I need to find time to actually take good pictures. I'll ask my dad about March 11th.

I guess that this qualifies as vintage. I sold it a few months ago but I had some incredible fun with it. Both pictures are from the Goodwood Festival of Speed last summer. In the second picture that is Emerson Fittipaldi in the foreground, me in the background.

The Festival of Speed is really just a dog and pony show, one car at a time up Lord March's 1 1/2 mile long "driveway". It's become the biggest historic car event in the world, I think that this year there was almost 150,000 people over three days. If you're ever going to England in late June, it is worth the trip alone.

And you obviously have a new updated Lotus Tool Number One - the originals were made out of wooden broom handles. LT#1 tends to be a handy tool to have for various things...

My partner and I paticipated in the Corinthian Vintage Auto Race school at Texas World Speedway this weekend. The green 1968 Lotus FF type 61, #109 in the background is our team car, (Team L.O.S.T.), and I'm using a borrowed Caterham, #7 untill we can get a second car.
He placed 1st in class, 9th overall and I did a 1st in class, 3rd overall in the Cat. Lots of nice Loti show up at vintage races. If there's one in your area it's worth the cost of admission. I tried to attach a photo hope it makes it.Al "phonse" B. Team L.O.S.T. Hey OF, you might get a kick out of this. Our team name was originaly to be Cheap Old Fart Racing. Never to old to start having fun. ![]() |
