I came across this image saved on my computer from a while ago but I can't remember what site i got it from. Does anyone have any idea what Lotus model this is? Looks like some sort of an Elise.

That's the M250 concept. Some have speculated this will be Lotus' next model, the Eagle.

Doesn't look like too much of a departure from the current look.

- and one can't help but notice how it's clamshells are segmented, and might even be able to sustain 2.5mph bumps!? that'll sure ease peoples minds and insurers knowing that a full clam replacement wouldn't be necessary in such a case.

True, I'm sure it will most likely grow on me. I don't know, I'm weird. I guess we'll never know till it happens. What's the main reason you don't like it?

(I didn't know until I googled it).

Which is rather astonishing, because I'm not the only one that thought it might be a 2009 model concept.

looks to have too many "sections" meaning the lines that seperate the body panels...for the most part

dont know too much info on the car, so mostly in the "looks" dept, just not quite appealing enough

For me it looks way too bulky, would anyone else agree? I'm sure its a magnificent car though.

Right, and even after 8 or 9 years it still looks very modern and well-proportioned. The Eagle will look different in its proportions, because it will be a 2+2 seater.
