There was one for sale today at Mecum in Monterrey. Not sure where the bidding landed.

Maybe you mean a less-valuable single-seater 20 or 22 Formula Junior?

Hi Everyone
To give you an idea, I have been looking for a 23 for a friend in the U.S. on and off for the last 3/4 years. I have possibly the 'expert' on 23's as a friend and we have looked at a few 'original' cars. Needless to say we didn't buy. To find an original is like looking for rocking horse manure.....still looking. |

Look thru issues of "Victory Lane", it has extensive for sale section of vintage racer's, and 23's do come up for sale. They were going for $140K in the mid to late 90's when vintage cars were super hot, but now are available for half that. I have a friend assembling one now, who also supplies new parts for them, and has a good idea of where they are, etc. PM me for his phone #. He's raced and restored three that I know of, as well as 51's, 41's etc.
