Anyone here near Sharpsburg GA? - LotusTalk

Hi guys!

I just purchased a house in Sharpsburg Georgia and was wondering if anyone else on the forum was living around here. I will not be moving permanently into the new house for awhile and my Elise will be staying at my home in WI until the house is sold, but my wife and I will most likely be in Sharpsburg off and on on a monthly basis until the final move. If anyone local wants to meet with me sometime when I am here just let me know.

Congrats on the new house. I just closed on a house 10/23.
There is a sizable group of Lotus owners and followers, in and around ATL.

Thanks! Congrats on your new house too! Closing on houses is always stressful, but at least that part is over for me now. Is anyone here on LT local to me like in Newnan or Peachtree City?

Don't worry Tracy, you won't be getting rid of me too soon. For now I will be keeping my house in WI as my first home because with the housing market in the dumpster, I wont be able to sell the old house very soon for a decent price. Sharpsburg is about 30 minutes south of Atlanta and east of I-85 in Coweta county between Peachtree City and Newnan. It is a rural area and the new house is located in a subdivision on Stewart Lakes. If I have my directions correct that is nowhere near you or any of the others that have responded. It looks like there are not going to be any other Lotus owners near me.

nope. No where near you. I'm north of the city. You are about 1:15 away.

But from where you are at it will still be worth it to come up and meet us for the mountain drives.

Yes, I intend to join you guys for those drives.

I also own land in the mountains outside Ellijay so I hope to be making drives to the mountains on my own as well.
