This is going on Saturday morning:

Car Show 1st Saturday each Month East Cobb

Starts at 8:30am on the 1st Saturday of each month and ends about 11am.

THE AVENUE EAST COBB
4475 Roswell Road
Marietta, Georgia 30062

Directions

FROM THE NORTH

Take I-75 South towards Atlanta
Exit 265-GA Loop East and turn left
Take the ramp to Roswell/Marietta
Turn left on Roswell Rd
Continue on Roswell Rd approximately 7 miles
The center is on the left

FROM THE SOUTH

Take I-75 North towards Atlanta
Exit 265-GA Loop towards Roswell
Merge onto S. Marietta Pkwy SE/GA-120 Loop West
Take the ramp to Roswell/Marietta
Turn right on Roswell Rd
Continue on Roswell Rd approximately 7 miles
The center is on the left

There's always an eclectic mix of cars, so check it out if you're in the area.

Just a bunch of car guys getting together. It was started a year or so ago by two of my friends: Frank Filicicchia (former big time Lotus Elan nut/now Mopar nut) and Jack Walter (Porsche 356 nut, Land Rover nut, etc.). No charge, no prizes, just cool cars and nice folks.

Everyone is invited to join us.

Next Saturday the 10th we're going to drive down from the Atlanta area around 10 AM in the morning and stay on the north side of Jacksonville. A group dinner is planned. On Sunday morning we'll attend "the Pebble Beach of the East Coast". Sunday afternoon we'll drive home.

If you've never been, its an incredible show to see. All of the cars are there by invitation only and they aren't allowed back for at least three years, so each year you see new and unique classics. They also feature a marque or driver each year so some very special cars show up.

Its a great event to bring the wife along on, as the resort setting, great food, warm weather and spring fashions are very spouse friendly.

Mick -- Sorry, but I can't make it this time.

But I do sense a little confusion on the meeting place. I think that Keith is thinking about the Home Depot in Dawsonville near the Outlet Mall, but your previous post sounds like you're planning to start off at the new Home Depot that is right at the end of 400 in Dahlonega.

I don't have a dog in this fight, but would hate for folks to miss out because they were at the wrong Home Depot. Have fun guys!!

Unfortunately I won't be able to make it, but I believe Mick said the start point was the new Dahlonega Home Depot. If you go to the traffic light at the end of 400 where it goes from 4 lanes to 2, I believe there is a new Home Depot on the Northwest corner behind the Chevron station.

I can't find it on the Home Depot home page! But here's how you get to it:

Go up 400 north. Keep going through Dawsonville, past highway 53 until you see signs that say GA400 ends. 400 ends at an intersection with a traffic light. Ahead and to your left you'll see a gas station with a Waffle House next to it. The Home Depot is up the hill behind the Waffle House.
