I promise I'll be good. Just a mile or two, so that I can experience it and say that I've driven a Countach.

Track Day at TGPR

I am hosting a track day at TGPR on September 27th.
It is limited to 10 cars only and I already have 5 cars on the list since I sent out the first batch of packages Monday. (first to pay gets the day)
The price for the whole day including lunch is $380 per car and $17 per spectator, this includes lunch for all. Spectators are allowed to be passengers if they bring the appropriate helmet.
The track will be open all day excluding 3 minute stops every 20 minutes to allow people to cross the track to go get gas.
This is a non profit event, any money left over at the end of the day will be distributed amoungst the drivers, to assist in gas costs.
I am doing this purely so that I may get more track time (and I am paying for my car too)
Any one interested in receiving an information pack can contact me anytime
The pack includes, general overview, registration form, car sign-off sheet, track schedule for the day, waivers etc
You can call me to reserve a place but you will only have 3 days to get the check to me before I open the place up to others.

Many people have mentioned that even thuogh this event is good value for money they have concerns about both the cost and the anility of their cars to do 6.5 hours of track tme,

To help people out with these two issues I have opened up the registration for two car groups, 1 car will go in the morning session and 1 in the afternoon session, thus halfing maintenance and cost.

I hope this helps

Track Day at Little Talladega September 19th

All,

PVM Performance will be at Little Talladega on September 19th for a track day event. Depending on car count, it will either be an open track event, or a 2-group event consisting of sports racers and street cars. If we have a 2 group event, there will be alternating sessions every 30 minutes throughout the day. Lunch will be provided as well as drinks/snacks throughout the day. The cost is $395 per car and limited spots are available. I'd love to meet a few of the Lotus owners in Atlanta so if you are interested in attending, contact PVM Performance at (888) 806 9993 or send an email to eric@pvmmotorsports.com.

Hope to see you there!

Eric

Newly addicted Elise Owner!

I just got back from Chicago, where I picked up my 'Yellow Beauty' and drove back to my home in Marietta.

I am so in love with this car! Every time I drive it, I am reminded of my very first mid-engine experience at the age of 16 driving my dad's Yellow Porsche 914 2.0. IOW, I feel 32 years younger when I drive this car!

THANK YOU, LOTUS!!!

I, too, look forward to meeting other owners in the Atlanta area. Other than at the dealership in Atlanta, I have yet to see any other Lotuses in my neck of the woods. I'm going to try to make it to Giovanni's on the 22nd...

Doug

Petit LeMans, Road Atlanta

Anyone headed to Road Atlanta for the ALMS Petit LeMans October 3-6?
I plan on being there with my Elise for qualifying on Friday the 5th. Might be fun to meet somewhere in advance and drive up together. On Saturday, I'll probably take the bikes/SUV...

PVM Motorsports will be at the Petit event all week racing in the ALMS IMSA Lites series. We race early in the morning on the 5th (8:30) but will actually be there from Tuesday (2nd) through the 5th.

Would love to meet you (and the other Lotus owners in the area) that want to see some great racing! We'll be on track all week, along with LOTS of other racing including Porsche GT3 Cup racing, Speed World Challange, American Lemans day and night practice (which is AWESOME), Star Mazda, and lot's of other series as well. You can find the schedule here:

http://www.imsaracing.net/2007/event...gs%20Lites.pdf

If you come by, just ask where the support series paddocks are located and look for our big white rig (and my red Elise!).

Mountain drive next Saturday

Join Lotus Limited Southeast this Saturday for a mountain drive. We'll be leaving for the drive from the Waffle House that is at the top of GA400, just south of Dallonegah. We'll be leaving promptly at 9 AM so please be on time with a full tank of gas. We'll be following the same route we did on the February drive, ending up in Helen. I'll have plenty of copies of the directions to hand out.

Awesome, Eric, just what I need! I've been driving my 'new' Lotus Elise on the streets for only 7 days(which can be a little frustrating), and so now I'm anxious to see what a driver like you can do with one on the track; EXCITING to say the least! I look forward to taking my car to the track for some informal 'runs' one day very soon. Until then, I'll settle for living vicariously through drivers like you...

I plan to be there to watch both Thursday and Friday (and Saturday). I look forward to meeting you, and the rest of the PVM team.

GOOD LUCK!

Doug

Not to be a buzz kill but there have been extra patrols around here (129/180/60) lately. Be aware.
