Nashville ride for my 88yo dad?
hi lotus brothers and sisters,
i will be flying to nashville in mid october for only a sat/sun to visit my 88yo dad, and was wondering if anyone in the area would be willing to take dad for a spin for me in their elise. an open top (elise or exige) would be like him taxi-ing in his mustang prior to take-off. i am not asking to drive your car, just have you take him for a 10/15 minute spin. i know it's asking a lot, but i thought to reach out to you all in the area. once or twice was going to drive to nashville to take my "ace" dad (WWII p-51 pilot) for a 'hop' in our elise. oddly enough he really argued with me to not drive that far. ok 11 hours or so from jurzey is not much for me, but he really was overly worried about me driving for 11 hours, so i didn't want to give him a heart-attack and never drove down. i don't know the names of the nashville neighborhoods, but they are near 440/65 if that helps. if anyone in the area is interested, please PM me, i can PM details and my contact back. thank you much, tom
