Any lotus owner in Kinston, N.C? I grew up there. Or did any of you N.C. Lotus owners grow up in Kinston? Maybe I'll find a high school alumni who owns a Lotus now. My name is Katherine(called Kathy back then)and my maiden name was "Owens". Did I know any of you in high school? I guess, if you had any sense you got out of Kinston at first possible moment-just like I did!

Unfortunately, no website yet but if you PM me your email addy I'll add you to the mailing list. The two groups work closely together and we manage a couple events a month. during the summer ther are track days, bed and breakfast trips, etc...

Are you a UK ex-pat? I have been in the states for 30 years and am still on a green card and UK passport.

MHElise, it it possible we've met (or at least driven together)? At some point over the summer, I was coming down 150 heading for 77 southbound when I let an Elise the same color as yours out at the last light before the onramp. We then proceeded to barrel down 77 at triple digit speeds until passing a cop, who fortunately already had somebody pulled over. After a brief wave and a 'nice car!' we went our seperate ways around exit 28.

Sound familiar or are there two Elises that color near the lake?

Cool! I've been seeing more and more Loti around here lately. Hopefully a bunch of you guys will come out. Here in Winston, I've seen two orange ones, a silver one, a really tasty burgandy one and a white Exige S over in Greensboro.

Hi there. I'm in Winston-Salem as well (but I have an Esprit). I met up with another Esprit owner last weekend and we got some great pictures on Pilot Mountain with my S4 and his V8. We should try to get a Triad Lotus meet together soon and it would be great to involve the Elise community. Shoot me an email...riddlemr2@gmail.com

We have quite a few Lotus owners in the Carolina area which is great. We have a Carolinas section on www.lotusespritforum.com and we also apparently have a lot of Carolina Elise owners. Is it time for a Carolina Lotus club? Anybody interested?

I'm a step ahead of you

Actually putting something together for all the area car clubs, since a lot of them cross-pollinate and associate together. I've already talked to the british car club, the Aston folks, and the Ferrari guys.

I frequent hwy 150 and 77 since I live in Huntersville. It wasn't me since I just picked up my elise in September. There are 1 or 2 more CO's that I know of around Charlotte. I have met one of the guys previously.

Hopefully I'll have to opportunity to meet up with you in the future!
