Wanted: Ride in Elise in Atlanta area for female friend - LotusTalk

My best friend is an industrial design major here at gatech. She enjoys cars and can intelligently discuss them (often to people's surprise). Her dream car is a dark blue Elise/Exige. Besides having a model and painting of one in her room, she has based some of her ID projects on them. Surprisingly, she has never gotten a ride in one. I get calls or messages whenever she even sees one on the road (ok, who doesn't get excited...).

As a present to her, I would like to get her a ride in an Elise or, even better, an Exige. This is to thank her for listening to me babble about cars for the last 4 years, and for supporting me while I built my Locost. She graduates at the end of April, so the ride would need to happen before then. She's often busy with schoolwork, so some planning is needed. It can probably happen anytime, excluding weekday evenings due to traffic (so that leaves late night and weekends). Maybe it could be worked into a mountain run?

As reimbursement, I have the following to offer:
-Ride(s) in my Locost. Think your car is scary to drive near big trucks? Want to experience less practicality than an Elise? We could blast around town in my ~1500lb (shes a little chubby), 2.4L ~100hp Locost.
-Drive my Locost. I would let you take a few Auto-x runs in my baby, pending that you prove the ability to not hit every cone you see. It is a 5 speed, tilt steering wheel and the driver seat is on rails (decent chance you'll fit).
-Steak. I enjoy grilling steak*
-Garage services. I have an enclosed garage in the city that is outfitted pretty nicely. We could swap an engine or install a brake kit*
-Metal fab work. I have a MIG and TIG welder, and access to an aluminum capable TIG welder. I can help you design and build almost anything.

*beer included

I could probably help you out on this.
It's just an Elise, but it is the best color. I have a fairly flexible schedule being self employed.

I offer up a ride in my Exige too. Its actually the best color. How about next Sunday the 29th? We're doing a mountain drive and I have an empty passenger seat.

Even is she's not attractive or unavailable (no offense op), you still have an excuse to go kick it in you car, then the Op offered a steak (most imortant but I would also include bacon just throughing that out there hint hint), motor swap assitance, garage time, a drive in Locost...

I rephrase my first post, sounds like a win-win-win-win! Maybe more with the said bacon.

Now if he mentions something about his wife then I would have to assume this is a hoax.

I'm up for the mountain drive in the locost (if you guys will let me tag along...I think I can keep pace). Ill see if I can get her to come. How late do you guys play until?

BTW, the gatech auto show is the 28th (which you should all attend as well).

I wasn't really offering all of those things as a a package deal, but it would make one hell of a weekend...
