Vegas Window Tint Review
I have been in Vegas a long time and it seems very difficult to find a place that does a quality tint job, I just bought a new car (Mazda 3 HB) to commute back and forth to work and needed the windows tinted. I have a friend that tints windows (he has done all my cars for the past 5 years), unfortunately he had a little accident taking a convict down at the jail (where he works) and busted up his knee. He won't be tinting for at least 6 months.
I had to find someone new to tint my car (can't wait 6 months for tint). I ran across this shop on another local forum I belong to: http://www.premierwindowtinting.com/ Read several reviews by members and decided I would give them a try. I setup my appointment via PM on the other board, and then gave a call today to confirm the appointment. When I arrived I was greeted by Nick the owner of the shop. His wife took my keys and pulled my car into the bay (Single bay shop). She was very careful pulling the car into the shop. I talked with Nick for a few minutes asking about his experience. They both have been in the business for 10 years, and decided to open his own shop about 4 years ago. He is also tints all of the cars for Shelby here in Vegas. They use SunTek Carbon Series tint which doesn't have any metal in them. They gave me the options of whatever I wanted for darkness, including front lighter then rear etc. No extra charge for different shades. I must say first time in 20 years I have not been charged extra for limo tint. The shop was very clean and well organized, no scraps of tint laying around and looks like it is swept regularly, and kept very clean. Once the car was in they began to work, I asked if they minded if I hung around, no problems with it, so I talked to both him and his wife while they both worked on tinting my car. I loved the fact they didn't mind I was around. I can understand why, they were both very careful when moving in and out of the car and placing the tint on the windows. It is good to see people take pride in their work when working on other people's cars. I hung around for about 30 minutes and then walked down to the bank to get cash to pay them (I was late, didn't have time to stop). Got back about 25 minutes later and they were just getting ready to pull my car out of the bay. I was very impressed by their work, and how well the tint turned out. If you need tint, and want to have a Quality Job done by people who actually care about their work, give them a call. It is a bit of a drive, but well worth the fact that you can watch them work on your car and the job is top notch. This will be the only shop I take my cars to for tint now. My friend is very good, but I have to set time aside weeks in advance to get him to do the cars. -Aaron |
