What to do in Phoenix?

Hi,

I will be in Phoenix on business and will have some time for fun.

Any car events, cruise ins, dealers, etc I should visit? We'll be in downtown area.

The dates are April 14,15,16.

Thanks.

Jeff

Right on, perfect weather right now.

Well there is a fun car show every Saturday night at the Pavillion's (Indian Bend/Hayden, in Scottsdale)

Head up to Scottsdale Lotus and check out some of the cool cars in the showroom.

We are going for a group drive the 19th but you might miss it.

Go to Donnovan's Steak and Chop House for the best steak you've ever had. (sorry, family business plug)

Rent a fun car and hit some of the roads around the lakes and mountains.

Stare at yuppies in BMW's and Audi's

There is plenty of other non-car related stuff to do as well.

PM me if you need anything else.

I also recommend stopping by Scottsdale Lotus. My wife and I dropped by and they let us look at all the cars without any hassle. Lots of cool cars.

There is also a Cars and Coffee meet in Scottsdale the first weekend of every month, but you'll miss that.

Swaq,

I love the Supra, too bad it got all wadded up. I used to have a n/a 1987.5 which I absolutely loved to death. It was tastefully modded and was just so much fun to drive, it was part of the reason I decided to get the lotus!

There's a nice canyon road in Apache Junction (about 30 miles east of downtown Phoenix):
