Where to watch USGP (F1) in Vegas?

Any recommendations for where to watch the USGP in Vegas this weekend?

There's a sports lounge in most casinos. New York, New York has a decent one. I liked the Venetian in general. I seem to remember them having a nice area as well.

ESPN zone has some nice TVs and is pretty comfy. You can have lunch there too.

Every Sunday Hofbrauhaus shows the formula one race at 2pm.

The remaining 2006 season schedule is as follows...

July 2nd - United States Grand Prix (Indy)

July 16th - Grand Prix de France

July 30th - Grosser Mobil 1 Preis von Deutschland (Germany)

August 6th - Magyar Nagydij (Hungary)

August 27th - Petrol Ofisi Turkish Grand Prix

September 10th - Gran Premio Vodafone d'Italia (Monza)

October 1st - Sinopec Chinese Grand Prix

October 8th - Fuji Television Japanese Grand Prix (Suzuka Circuit)

October 22nd - Grande Prix

I found this on another local forum. Hofbrauhaus is on the corner of Paradise and Harmon, across from the Hard Rock. The food is pretty good and the have lots of beer, just stay away from the biker beer, it is horrible....

Last week the local ESPN zone told me they wouldn't have the race and that they show F1 "once in a great while". They said they get a main feed from their headquarters so that one may not have it either. I can understand that with "only" 20 screens, you couldn't possibly have one dedicated to F1.

Thanks everyone. I was hoping to find a more car-oriented place, not somewhere like the ESPN zone mentioned where if we're lucky there'd be one TV with F1, surrounded by mostly baseball/etc fans watching something else.

What about the Sahara, they used to have those racing simulators, any idea if they extend that car theme to events like this?

Could maybe try Hotrod grill out in henderson. The Sahara still has the Nascar theme, bar etc. Not sure if they will have F1.

It will definitely be on there. Hotrod Grill is where the Ferrari club will be watching:

Thanks everyone. I called Sportszone and they ARE showing the race (guess there's not much else on Sunday morning). We'll be watching the race there since it's close to our hotel.
