But now -- yes, that must have been you in P. Small world .

And what about Mike's lunch thing -- no response? This makes me feel sad.

Love the house, though ^_^..

Wow awsome house ! Needs a 8 car garage though with lifts ! In Southern Cali, $600,000 would buy you the driveway and maybe the garage door and one of the two vase planter things at your front door .

So how about you and I setting up lunch and see if anyone else shows up? I work for myself and am pretty open next week.

I love Southern California, but you can live a lot better in KC. I advise my coastie friends to sell their house, move to KC and buy a better house, and retire on what's left.

You know, I thought that might be you, but darkSol told me it was some guy. We need to work on him.

You know I've always had problems with that

(Actually somebody at Sprint told me that GEEK was a guy. Thwack time! )

Also... my Gaydar's never worked - but that's an entirely different story.

I'm up for lunch anytime/anywhere!

Just give me a couple of day's warning to make sure I can make it.

No Wednesdays please! I drive the kiddies I/O <-> daycare.

I'm game -- just let me know when (and you might copy e-mail, too, just in case (^.^)

It's possible that some people at Sprint saw someone else driving the elise. I ride around in the passenger seat as much as possible .

(hey, what's the statement -- "share the love, give up the keys to your elise" or something like that?)

OK, I may have lied about being pretty open this week. Both my son and wife are on spring break and wanting to do things. I might be able to work it in if others are ready to go.

Otherwise, I will throw out Tuesday, March 20, 1:30 pm as a possible lunch time. Doesn't have to be that day, or that time. I like after the lunch crowd, but can go earlier if anyone has a set lunch hour. 810 Zone in Town Center? Gates at 103rd and State Line? Other suggestions?

My wife left today for Orlando for a week - she's doing her Board recertification. She'll be back next Monday... so I can drive/play after then.

Good luck to her. I'm taking one next week and another one in two weeks. Man the beating never ends.

I can do next week, but around lunch is generally better for me -- something about people wanting to start meetings at 1:00 /sigh (^.^)

next tuesday I have meetings until 11, then they start back up at 1:00. I find that if you can get into a place before 11:30, it's usually not too bad. Start looking after 11:45 and -- yeah, it can be ugly.

I know it's impossible to please everyone, but I have lunch open Tues and Fri of next week. What's the current consensus on a date?

Are we getting enough loti in town to start a club yet?

Yeah, don't even THINK about Bravo or Cactus Grill after 11:30am

I say we all do Sushi House in Town Center... I used to go there every week for lunch when I worked at Sprextelbarq - I was a first name basis with everyone there.

They have a wonderful Bento Box "B" lunchbox... it has EVERYTHING in it: Miso soup, ginger salad, Teriyaki chicken, Tempura shrimp, California roll and rice for $11.95: http://www.mysushihouse.com/sushi.asp?pgID=1002 (dinner prices are higher)

If I get the car back together this week (gauges are apart and I'm going to plunk the cat on the car to see how that affects performance/sound) then I'll be free next week for meeting up on Tuesday/Thursday or Friday! I'm voting for Thursday because Fridays are crazy around here for Lunch and I might not have my stuff together by Tuesday.

This may sound like a silly question but -- does Sushi House have some cooked food? I've tried to like sushi because it's very pretty, but my tastes in cars are far more exotic than my taste in food .

So far, next Thursday looks fine for me.

I think we should select a location near a street so we can have a nice little line showing the various color selections of the Elise!

Lisa... I already thought of folks who don't like/never had it before.

Everything in the above mentioned Bento Box "B" is cooked. The California roll is actually tuna. Everything else is conventional - and very, very tasty!

If you park right up front you'll get plenty of attention - we can even get one of the three window facing rooms (will hold six people) so we can gaze upon the public going gaga over the plethora of Lotus!

Town Center facing South - Sushi House is on the North side of the mall:

I can do Thursday, but what about Phil? Didn't he say Tuesday or Friday? I can do those, too. 11:30 is fine.

Lisa, my wife is half Japanese and makes me go to those raw fish places all the time. I usually have the Teriyaki chicken. Well cooked and sort of like BBQ. Actually, I am getting to where I can eat raw tuna, but probably not a whole lunch.

I'm out for next week. Taking boards on thu.
On a different note, perhaps we should have a Kansas city thread so that we're not posting under 'crashed car' thread. Bad karma. Just a thought.

You're being too janitorial...
(and I'M the one who's OCD - ha!)

Just found out from Janie that they "lost" her registration for the board exams she was going to take today - and that she can't re-register on site. She's pissed. At least she's in Orlando and can blow off some steam with Mickey, Goofy and company.

Did we come up with any agreement of a date for next week or do we need to push it out another week? Here's what I think I glean from the schedules:

Phil: Tues Friday*
Dark: Tues Thursday* Friday
Mike: seems open
lrich: pretty open -- often has meetings around 1 pm.
babak: out 19-23rd (taking boards -- but possibly Friday in "celebration??)
(* indicates day preference)

Suggestions have been made for Sushi House and 810 -- both in Town Center -- seems to be leaning toward Sushi House.

hehe -- great -- i'm hungry now! pfft.
so thoughts on lunch?

Glad you could figure all that out

Let's nail this down for next Friday at 11:15 at 810 Zone (I'm also not a raw fish eater). And while we're at it and have "everyones" attention, let's try to schedule the next meeting

I'm voting for April 17th (Tuesday). That is the day before the first DE at heartland. Several are going to the track on the 18th and a lunch prior would be good opportunity chat about it... If not the 17th, then how about the 20th (Friday) and then we can all share DE day stories from the 18th...

Thoughts?

Phil
