Now that's what I'm talking about! Love that! What was that in front of you? He seemed to be getting around pretty well, also.

Sounds good to me. I'm wide open Saturday. I do have 2:30 VB on Sunday, so I'd probably have to cut out early.

It was a WRX Impreza wagon - with a Stage II turbo upgrade (on par with a new STi). He held me up a bit at some points but it was real fun!

Best,

I could do stuff this weekend, sunday is out, but I can bang on stuff all day saturday.
List of things as you put it:
--HIDs and headlight rings.
--2Bular, This is more involved and I don't want to usurp others tech time.
--I would really like to do the remote antenna extension. I think that this would be a great one for the group to do as it's an easy mod and quite useful to all of us.
--I would love it if somebody taught me how to get 12v Switched power from behind the stereo so I can do a V1 mount.
I pay with food, I'm worth it .

Wish me luck!

Phil

We should also sound off to see who needs what done and coordinate to use the time well. I think if we were to do the same mods to more than one car it would not only go faster but also a better utilization of the knowledge base of the ones who know what they are doing (so they claim ).

Unhappy Dang

Well some more of my 'friends' are taking their final steps into marriage this weekend, at least they were both kind enough to get married in Chicago and get their schedules such that I can actually attend both and stay for the more fun reception once all is said and done. So I am off this weekend to Chicago (and actually will be out every weekend until the 18th of May).
Sorry to missing out on this guys, I do have a small rattle that has crept up - sounds like a loose cable? It only happens when I let completely off the clutch. Any ideas? Haven't searched the forums just yet, been pretty busy.

Alright guys / gals take care.

Ah c'mon! Unless they're paying with cash, I say bump them until later

I don't know if I have anything specific that I want to do right away, but I would like to see some of the mods I have heard you talking about to consider for my car. I have several on the back burner: intake, exhaust, speakers, ChaseCam, brake pads and steel hoses, darkSol's GPS thingy, etc. I probably won't do all of them, but would like to see them and evaluate. If David can show me the passenger air bag switch, I might do that Saturday. Speaking of that, David, if you come, can you bring your booster seat? I would like to see it in the car.

Anyone reflashed their ECU for lower cam change? I'm still a little paranoid about getting the change in the middle of a hard turn.

Mike, Just you and me now... At least we started strong as a group . Bad weekend for Ben and Babak and I haven't heard from Dave. Do we push forward despite our waffling friends or reschedule?

Best,

Phil

I'd say push it to May 5 or 6. I'm open Saturday and VB is not until 5:30 that Sunday. If you have a specific project in mind for this Saturday, I would be happy to come by and give you a hand.

I wonder what happened to Dave? And we probably ought to email Lisa. She probably has not checked ET lately and we could stick on a windshield wiper for her.

The only thing I have pending is changing the brake fluid. A Motive Power Bleeder should be arriving today, which should make the job a breeze. If you're still looking for an excuse to get out of the house, I'd be happy to have an extra set of hands.

Since I went through the -entire approval process- to get the boss to give me a free pass for "shop time", I figure I should use it for something

... It didn't sound like you had too much you were wanting to get accomplished this time around. It's always easy to do the alarm antenna trick. We could take care of that on your car... How's your airfilter? Need the oil changed? I'm up for just about anything...

Let me know.

Best,

Phil
