Brown County Cruise - Sun, Oct 5th
Late notice for Mixed Marque Cruise this weekend:
Sunday Cruise Plans: Meet at the flying J at Whiteland Road and I-65 (exit #95) at 10:00 AM. Go south on I-65 to Route 58 (Exit #64). Regroup at gas station at exit. Take 58 to 135 to Story for lunch. Regroup point for lunch. Then head north on 135 to 135/46 and stop at the Shell Station corner of 135/46 and Salt Creek Rd for gas and to regroup. At this point, we will wind our way through the small backroads north of 45 and take advantage of as many turns and little amount of traffic as possible. 2-way radios are very helpful on the backroads of Salt Creek and beyond. Lead car can warn of oncoming traffic on the NARROW roads. The majority of roads once we head onto Salt Creek are 1.5-2 lanes and no lane stripping and traveled by locals. This is being promoted by Maximum-Motorsports: home of the MWPDF and Welcome - Midwest SCC |

Sounds great. We were just down there in our Elise last week-end. Be sure to take lunch at the Story Inn. Great food. Roads are the best but watch for horse trailers. They like to take up both lanes sometimes.
If I was not planning on sitting all day watching football stuffing Cheetos down my neck, I would go with you. Matthew |

Matthew....one word...DVR! OK, it was three letters and not a real word.
I'm recording the game and watching when I get home. Keep the radio off and you can still enjoy a drive and the game when you get home! The chettos will still be waiting for you. LOL! Temps will be high of 80, so perfect driving weather. We are doing lunch at Story Inn. Thought we had an Exige S going, but apparently he might be taking a Ducatti instead. |

I know I need a TVO or some DVR. I went to our local club meeting for the first time last evening at Dooly's and met some of the guy's. Someone had an orange Exige S. It was very nice. But if I had to pick a car (that was not mine) that really caught my attention it would have been the purple elise. I think its Amish's car. I had never seen that color in person before. I really like it. I will probably be spending Sunday trying to get my one of my little grills on the front of the nose glued back into place. I will try to make the trip on the 19th the club is doing.
See you around. Matthew |
