Cincy area sunday drive/meet and greet. - LotusTalk

Well i know its a little early but i just cant help myself.

Next sunday that we have some predicted good weather. Any of you cincy owners up for meeting up for lunch and a drive or something of the sort?

I would love to meet more Lotus Owners in the area.

I want to organize the Cincy Lotus crew. I know there a few of us scattered around the area. We just need something/someone to bring us together

If you guys stay out late. Its a possiblity. I wouldnt be able to arrive until probably 8:30.

How about a track day at putnam?

Do you guys ever organize one of those. Or have any idea on what the cost would be. Im sure i could scronge up some guys from other clubs to join us to get the costs down. S2kca.com Subarus, maybe a couple of is300's:/

I just saw your post this evening. I think today was the day to go for a drive. We went out for a short drive around Northern KY. Not too far, just enough to keep the battery charged.

We talked to cerven last fall about getting some Cincy owners together this Spring. Hopefully we can get something going. He has our name and phone number.

We do a couple of track events a year with the Porsche Club at Mid-Ohio and Putnam. I've sold the 911 and we're trying to sell the 944 Turbo so I may have to find some new friends anyway

Hopefully, we'll see some of you soon.

unfortunately I work saturdays. So Sunday cruises are what I would be looking for. But I do agree Saturday was decent. Much better than today for sure. Looking forward to meeting you all. I can't wait for my first summer with the lotus.

Monthly meets, get togethers, BBQ's, sunday drives, occasional track day, or ALMS racing trips. ?

This forum is slowwww. Does the tri-state region pick up a bit in hot weather months? I sure hope so. If not we should make a contact list with emails and cell phones. For those of us that dont check these forums every day.

Any tri-state F1 fanatics? Up for F1 watch parties?

Few of us can stay out late if you're coming. We have an annual HPDE at putnam park and you guys are more than welcome to join.

The Miata club round here is a bunch of 'older' folks that look at the scenary too much. Plus, I would be driving a 111 if I could afford one and I'm kinda Chapman'ing the Miata to get me closer to that experience.

So what do you think??

You maybe right...
I'm still a rookie in the track driving arena but did pretty well at the Lotus School out in Pahrump. Need more track time and to be honest, its a different car then my 05 so I will need to learn the way with the 240. Brakes are so much more aggressive then what I was use to and the power is much greater.

Im in Columbus, I went with Arctic Silver.

It is much different paint then my 05 elise as it has more/bigger flake and can be almost charcoal in some lighting or white. Driving wise it is night & day. I still have some miles to put on it yet so I am hoping by Apri-lish I will get that first service in. Just need a little track time to get the heel toe down on this car. If you brake your already past the gear you wanted to be in at road speeds. Brakes are crazy.
