I'd very much like to check out your Quicksilver exhaust when I'm in the neighborhood. If you see a scrawny guy wandering around with a buddy and wearing an ET polo shirt or a "Simplify" T-shirt from Shinoo and don't mind giving a demonstration flag me down.

Sounds great Chris. I think our plan is to get there late Saturday morning sometime. I'll give you a call sometime Saturday afternoon.

By the way, can you recommend a decent, reasonably priced, hotel where you wouldn't be wary parking your first born?

I had lunch with a guy from Ohio on Sunday. He had heard I owned an Elise and mentioned that he saw a yellow one in Springfield, Ohio. I suggested it was probably you.

I don't think they're hiding, there's just not many of us.

I'd meet somewhere in between sometime just to see another Elise on the road...in a year and a half, I've still not seen another one.

I drive an '05 Black Starlight Elise and live in Ravenna.

The Cleveland Area Lotus Club (http://www.calotus.com/index.php) mentions a British Car Day at Ursuline College August 5th. I know nothing about the club, but thought I'd stop by to see some other Lotus cars.

While working in Canton last year I saw a blue Elise several times downtown. Since then I've seen two red convertibles - one in Edinburgh, and the other near Chapel Hill Mall in Akron.

Count me in for a drive/mini meet.

I'm northeast of Cleveland, in Lake county, but I'll go wherever works the other Elise owners.

I still haven't seen another one on the road since I got mine last June.

OK, Sounds like there are some interest on getting together. How about labor day weekend? I am located in the Canton area (willing to travel for a mini meet), but I have only lived in Ohio for the last 3 years and still don't really know where is a good place to go for a group ride. How about Rt.6 from Cleveland to Sandusky stop by Vermillion for lunch? Any other ideas?
