Dave i don't have one yet but i will by july 08 and there are couple of guys around the NW ohio area that have loti but they almost never get on

I'm in Hudson from time to time with my 05 LRG/TAN, kids in school there at WRA but I live in Youngstown so service in Sewickley at Ascot. Will be going there soon I guess as my wife backed into it and took off the reflector over the rear wheel. I should take them off anyway as I continue to terrorize cows annd squirrels on the great driving roads ( no traffic ) out here.

wheres all the cincinnati people. Dont you northerners know its too cold most of the year up there to drive your lotus.

i would have figured there would be more owners down here rather than up there.

I guess that explains why i havent seen but a 2-3 elises over the past 2 yrs around here.

Well at least i got good ol Exige S pete.

I'm with you- haven't seen much in the way of Loti here in Cincinnati at all. A Bourdeux red one at a car show a few months back was the first I'd seen. I did run into a guy a few weeks ago though, driving a black Exige S in Oakley, but I don't think he was local- mentioned something about Detroit and Midwest in Columbus. Had one yellow and one white racing strip- looked slick. Is he on here?? Tried to talk about the car briefly, but then the light turned green....

Cinci burbs just across the river 5 miles from downtown - does that count for Ohio? Bgwillyelise - you rode in my car at a Friday night Milford cruise-in last year. Glad you finally got your dream car!

Im currently trying to talk my other British car friend into selling his spitfire and buying an Elise.

We need to plan a meet up very soon.

The groundhog saw his shadow. Another 6 weeks of winter.

New owner in Dublin, Ohio. And actually my neighbor just a few houses down has an Elise as well - not sure if he's on the forum or not.

Funny thing is I have not seen this thread...bought an 05 elise in late Oct. of 05 (jmieese above is the proud owner now of it

and then bought an 08 exige s240 (Dec. 07). Anyway, we have a few close by Columbus Lotus owners so we should meet up sometime.

We're running out of nice weekends... would be cool to meet up before the long cold winter sets in.

How about we just set a time/place and try to spread the word?
How about either:
Saturday the 17th at 4pm: Meet at Quaker Steak & Lube at Polaris, grab dinner, go for a drive
OR
Sunday the 18th at 9am or 10am: Meet for coffee somewhere, go for a drive

Thoughts?

I think Jeff Miesse and I are meeting up sometime on sunday in the polaris area. Im not sure what your sunday plans are but maybe that could work out...I will try and get a hold of him. I know early morning I would be out but maybe noon or after I could do it. My car is part striped as Im doing that project so the car may look goofy...
