Hey Terry, thanks again for lunch/dinner yesterday. Those pics are all on Willy to upload. I'm not sure if it will necesarily be on this thread but they will be here. I'll let you know if I find them somewhere.
It was definitely a pleasure meeting you and your son, make sure you keep in touch!

P.S. I did the "bedding procedure" you had mentioned with no luck. I really wish you could hear these brakes. Metal on metal. I think I'm going to give TJ a call today and at least let him hear it from me, maybe we can take care of it during the 1000 mile service.

I live in Troy, Ohio. About 70 miles north of Cincinnati.

I am seriously considering purchasing a Lotus Elise, but i have never driven one, never ridden in one, never sat in one.

Anyone out there interested in showing me there Elise? I would be willing to drive the Cincinnati area.

Please send me a PM if you are willing

Thanks,

Nathan

Been lurking. ^ also never driven, ridden, or sat in a Lotus but hope to make it my next ride. Only Lotus I've seen around the area is a black Elise in N.Ky. Droooool. Would be down for taking some drives if a WRX or MINI is welcome.

I'll be picking up my 06 Elise next weekend. I deploy for the military and am only home for a few months at a time so being in a club would not work well for me. I would love to know the great roads that we have in the area. I live just north of Troy ohio but am definitely willing to drive!

My budy just picked up a 09 Nissian GTR so we are both looking forward to some great drives!

Thanks in advance!

D

It has officially been 30 days since I picked up my Exige S240...still no Certificate of Origin, which means no Title issued, which means no driving (Dealer gave me 7 day tags), which means both me and my bank are extremely upset!!!!!!

I don't see it as FVMC's fault, they have been fighting for me to try and get the Certificate....and in fact the fighting paid off today. The certificate of origin was delivered today so I can finally register the car!
Everything is falling into place finally! My dash works again, I can register the car, now I just have to hope nothing else goes wrong

Your problem was a little different than mine because your back lighting worked where as mine was completely dead (Absolutely everything) How long did you leave the battery unplugged? TJ said keep negative terminal off for 2 hours and restart, if it comes back on make sure you drive it around and that it stays on.

that works to reset an 08 mike. The 07 is going to be a totally different issue, most likely not a reset procedure. They changed the instrument cluster and cluster programming in 08.

And for the record i told John to tell you to have 1 beer then reconnect the negative battery terminal. 2 hours is not necessary, its more like 10-15 min...or 1 beer
Glad it worked though. Now get off the computer and go drive it Mike!!

I passed one of lotustalks very own on 75 tonight, (Bgwilly31) I assumed you were heading to the Street Life Tour? I thought about going but no one to go with me. I was riding in my killer WRX heading north it was between Cin-Day and Union Center and was like oh s***!

Just stopping in to say hi to Cincy
Lotus crowd .

I am curious anyone here thinking about buying a
Evora?

I ask because i am in process of 2gr-fe
swap in my 95 Mr2 and would love to compare
Lotus "tuned" over my set up.I been tinkering
with Toyota motors for 17 years and the 2GR-FE
is finally the V6 i have been waiting to install for
10 years in a MR2.

Anyone in Mason , See old guy in Green MR2 that me..
