I can't locate any brand of 5W-40 anywhere

Murray's? nope
Pepboys? nope
Autozone? nope
Advance Auto Parts? nope
Meijer? nope
Walmart? nope

I know Auto Europe uses Castrol Syntec 5W-40, but I can't find a single place to get any kind of 5W-40.

Hmm.. I don't remember where I bought mine.... someplace local.... I'll figure it out and post by Sat. Are you going to the Autozone cruise on Sat morning ?

I got mine at Autozone here in Brighton - look for Mobil One for diesel trucks. Also over in the gallon area, they also carry Shell Rotella in our grade. They also have the large K & N filters that fit our cars. Liquid - did you do your own oil change and did you use the proper plug gasket? I didn't, and found that the copper gasket that I used produced a small leak. I picked up a couple at AE last week and they have some type of fabric or felt on both sides of the washer to give a proper seal. I'll be changing that out next change.

Autozone same here 5w-40 for diesel truck mobil one. If you have any concerns on the diesel truck do a search here. Same stuff
