Winter is Finally here...

Well Winter is finally here in NE Ohio. Had the car out for a last drive yesterday (60 degree) follow by a wash and wax job. Today is a cool 40 degree out and the cover is going on until the Spring. Damn I hate living up North. Got to move South somehow...

I rolled the ol' girl out for an end of season ride today. Bottle of Stabil, full tank of gas, wash, awaiting the car cover.

Winter projects: FF Header install, S111 ecuFLASH2, black powdercoated & machined front calipers, tail lights and corner markers smoked and, perhaps, a 5th and / or 6th point for the Scroth Profi IIs.

It's gonna be a short winter, it's gonna be a short winter, it's gonna be a short winter...

Winter will pass (keep telling yourself that Frank). In the meantime, I'll enjoy the winter driving, snow mobiling, skiing, etc., and living vicariously via LotusTalk. Oh yeah, one more thing... living vicariously sucks too.

I managed to get a few hours of driving in.

It is starting to get pretty cold in Chitown but a hardtop and a little heat made for a very cozy ride.

Put mine in storage this Saturday (Nov. 24) and looking at the snow today it looks like it was a good decision.

Got a few inches of snow here today. Did the driveway then decided to sit in the lotus for a few minutes. God, I hate this weather.

Yep........expecting 10-15 inches here tonight/tomorrow. When Jim Cantore comes to your town, you KNOW it's gonna be bad !

Watching Jim on the WX channel right now...the man that begs for adversity! Not a Browns fan, but have to watch...could be another snow bowl.

When I can't take it anymore I sit in the Elise and dream of a good drive. Ah but then reality sets and there is 5-6 inches of fresh snow reminding me that its winter in Chicagoland.
Its 4wd fun time for now.
