2006 Club111 calendar - FINAL ROUND OF VOTING
The 2006 Club111 calendar is almost ready! First, over 200 photos were submitted (link). Then, almost 100 EliseTalk users voted in the first round of voting. Now, we need your help one last time with the final round of voting.
Please take a minute to look over the finalists and vote for twelve images there. I'm sorry for the short notice, but due to the approaching holiday season I must ask that voting be done quickly - votes must be received by the end of the day on Monday, December 5. On Tuesday, December 6th I'll be contacting the people who submitted the winning photos to ask for a high resolution version, as well as to verify that they have all rights to that photo and agree to its use in the Club111 calendar. My goal is to have the calendar available for sale on Friday, December 9th. Thanks everyone!

If you check the thread, I wanted to straighten things out...this was the day before TG. Among other things I thought it should be in the track section and not the by-color section, but that is not a huge thing. I also wanted to include a link to a larger version as the size of the samples was too small to be able to see the three reflections: cones, Colin, driver. This was an important part of the image and would be seen in a calendar should it have been selected. TG hit + Friday with folks..then the site was down until Monday..too late to get back in the game for the Tuesday deadline as voting had already been in progress. There were a lot of pics to go through, I understand. I'll do something else with it instead. |

Just a reminder, you've got one day left to vote for your favorite images for the 2006 Club111 calendar!

![]() Just kidding. Votes have been tallied; the finalists are undergoing review by the Club111 staff - we start by looking at which 13 images received the most votes, but may deviate from that slightly to end up with the best possible *set* of images (for example, we shy away from having the same car featured twice, unless they're really, really good images).

Hey Matt.. during the time period after you entered my picture.. could you tell me if my picture got any votes at all? There is a vain part of me that would be interested in finding out if that pic is worth the electrons it takes up on my hard disk. =)

![]() I don't think this pic was in the first voting thread. If it had been, I would have voted for it because I really liked it and was sorry it was late. I love the effect with the leaves. 'Course, I am a tree hugger. ![]() Just so you know... z |

Well, why not yellow if it voted well? Didn't the SY outnumber just about any other color anyway. Were those photos to predominate the vote, that was in large measure because they meritted it from the first round of voting.
Affirmative Action for car colors? ![]() Perhaps that should have been announced before hand so we could comb the bushes for a larger number of candidates to run against those that photographed better and wound up being chosen on that basis. It could also be that the photographers of a handful of colors were far better too. But what do I know? You've got your reasons. |
